Georgina Sanderson, BSc(Hons), MBA
Georgina Sanderson is based in Sydney, Australia, currently working for Cochlear Limited, the global leader in implantable hearing solutions. She has a background in medical research and commercialisation of technology.
Georgina has graduated with degrees from several universities including a BSc Monash University, Melbourne; an Honours degree in Biochemistry from University of New South Wales in Sydney, a Masters of Business Administration from the Australia Graduate School of Business and a Graduate Certificate in Health Economics.
She spent seven years working as a molecular biologist studying tyrosine kinase receptors at The Ludwig Institute for Medical Research - Tumour Biology, Melbourne and The Garvan Institute for Medical Research Sydney.
From here Georgina moved into Venture Capital, working as a consultant to the telecommunications and biotechnology industries, before commencing work at Cochlear Limited.
Over the past ten years Georgina has worked across the Company, including postings in both Europe and the Asia Pacific region. As the Director for Reimbursement, Quality and Regulatory Affairs, Georgina is committed to maximising people’s access to Cochlear’s implantable hearing solutions.
