Simone Lei Hugentobler lic.phil.I
Simone Lei Hugentobler was born in Basel, Switzerland, and graduated from the Basel University where she obtained her licentiate (Master degree) in English and German philology (literature and linguistics) end of 1995. She also has a commercial degree in Hotel Business Administration .
After working for a prestigious five star hotel in Geneva and for the Basel State Scholarship Office in Basel during her studies, she joined Cochlear Europe in Basel in 1996. She has held various positions and functions within Cochlear Europe, ranging from Personal Assistant to the CEO, Human Resources, Sales & Marketing in Eastern Europe to Marketing Communications Coordinator for Europe.
In 2007 she established the company Monsana AG together with Dr.Dr. h.c. Monika Lehnhardt and left Cochlear Europe in the following year.
